I am delighted to meet you on a Zoom call for an introduction. A wedding is an intimate, emotional affair. Although I remain inconspicuous and professional, I am there the whole day. So a ‘click’ is important!
During the introduction we will discuss your wishes and I will share with you my vision of creating a stylish wedding coverage. You can get a good impression of my style by exploring the Portfolio section on this website. If you are considering ordering a photo album with the wedding coverage, which is carefully curated by me, you can check examples of such albums on a designated page on this website.
After the initial introduction, we will have a preparatory meeting 2-3 weeks before the day of the wedding. We will go over all the organisational matters to make sure everything goes according to plan.
And then the time has come. The wedding day! While you will be enjoying the special day, I will be following the discretely following the ceremony with my camera. My attention focuses on emotions, details and special moments.
I prefer to stage little to nothing and I do not favour posing. As a professional photographer, I know how to capture enough spontaneous moments throughout the day to capture your love, intimacy and connection.
Approximately 2 weeks (or sooner if agreed upon) after the wedding you will receive a dropbox link with all photos in high resolution.
When choosing to have an album made: Based on your preferences, I will make a proposal for the layout of your wedding coverage. After, you will receive the drafted design of the photo album: for you to be corrected and approved. At last, the design of the cover is finalised and completed.
Voilà! The treasured recollection of the special day are sent for production in Scotland. The complete album(s) will be sent to your home from Scotland – including track & trace. To enjoy for years to come all the special memories you made together on that one, special day.
Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is an important and exciting choice. A wedding photographer should provide tangible memories of what is supposed to be the most beautiful day of your life. So, choose a photographer whose vision and style resonates with yours. A personal ‘click’ is also important, as the photographer is someone who should be able to feel what you have in mind and make it happen!
To get a better idea of reasonable options, I advise you to request quotes from several wedding photographers.
Also be sure to ask what exactly you will get for the amount under the line. Of course you should pay attention to price, but don’t think of wedding photography as an expense that you can cut back on substantially. Your wedding photos are the only “tangible” memories of your wedding day! You know: a picture says more than a thousand words…
Don’t wait too long to book your photographer, as the best ones will be fully booked far in advance. Start looking for a photographer as soon as the wedding date and location are known.
